Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical condition and functional limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and implement therapeutic interventions using advanced techniques to promote recovery. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment protocols, self-management strategies, and exercise regimens while documenting progress and modifying strategies as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including occupational and speech therapists to ensure comprehensive care for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine populations. Meet minimum utilization goals in alignment with business objectives. Submit a curriculum vitae and cover letter highlighting experience and passion for rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
- Proficient in word processing and electronic health record systems.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic setting.
- Experience with various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies, enhancing treatment delivery.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
