Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical conditions and create personalized rehabilitation programs. Maintain a manageable load of one patient per hour while implementing evidence-based techniques and developing customized fitness routines. Educate patients on healthier lifestyles to enhance mobility and coordinate with healthcare providers for holistic care. Document all services and progress diligently using the WebPT electronic medical records system.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California, with no disciplinary actions against your license
- Strong manual therapy skills and the ability to assess and apply appropriate treatment strategies effectively
- Proficiency in developing targeted exercise routines that meet individual patient needs
- Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, and the ability to navigate it with ease
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrated success in using evidence-based practices in treatment planning
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team to promote patient-centered care
