Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and prepare comprehensive treatment plans for patients referred by physicians for orthopedic rehabilitation. Implement individualized therapeutic programs incorporating hands-on techniques, exercise prescriptions, and modalities while documenting progress and adjusting plans based on ongoing assessments. Provide high-quality patient care through education on injury prevention and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated efforts in achieving patient goals. This full-time role in South River, NJ supports a diverse patient population including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports-related injuries. Candidates must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), a valid New Jersey license, and Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey
- Proficient in written and verbal communication
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Familiarity with electronic medical records
- Proficiency in computer applications for patient management
