Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by reviewing medical history, performing assessments, and documenting findings to inform individualized treatment plans. Implement tailored treatment protocols for orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and injury recovery, adapting strategies based on patient progress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring continuity of treatment. Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations while participating in hospital and community outreach initiatives. Engage in professional development and mentor new physical therapists and students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience as a physical therapist
- Current CPR certification
- Location: Alexandria, Virginia
- Full-time employment
- Onsite work at the Rehabilitation Center
