Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's condition to identify specific needs and develop targeted, individualized treatment plans. Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically one patient per hour, utilizing modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to optimize movement and strength. Document progress rigorously in the WebPT EMR system and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal results and adherence. Educate patients and families on wellness strategies to sustain recovery and enhance quality of life while monitoring treatment effects continually. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to integrate interdisciplinary approaches for maximum patient benefit. This role supports patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders in our 5,000 square foot facility equipped with advanced sports medicine technology.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
- No disciplinary actions or board actions against your professional license.
- Strong manual therapy skills, with proficiency in creating effective exercise programs.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and multidisciplinary team members.
