Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify orthopedic patients' specific objectives and needs, then develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their recovery. Manage a caseload efficiently by delivering one-on-one therapy sessions at patients' homes within the Lehigh Acres area, utilizing manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise protocols to enhance mobility and range of motion. Document all treatment sessions thoroughly to track progress and regularly assess strategies based on patient feedback. Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and specialists to ensure coordinated care while motivating patients on lifestyle modifications for long-term health. Maintain a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid Florida license to practice physical therapy
- Applicants must maintain a clean professional record without any disciplinary actions against their license
- Strong knowledge and expertise in manual therapy techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation
- Exceptional skills in developing and executing patient-centered exercise protocols
- Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software and efficient documentation practices
- Prior experience in a home care environment or private practice focusing on orthopedic patients
- Proven track record of patient success stories and outcomes
- Experience working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient care
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
