Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans utilizing exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment for orthopedic rehabilitation. Administer therapy sessions to alleviate pain and enhance mobility while documenting progress and modifying plans based on individual responses. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, assistive device usage, and safety techniques to promote independence. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in our outpatient office to support diverse populations including post-operative patients and those managing chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid State License to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective patient interaction and collaboration with the healthcare team
- Proficiency in documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
