Job Summary
Orthopedic Physician Assistant opportunity with Dignity Health Medical Group – North State in Redding, CA. Role combines outpatient clinic and operating room responsibilities, including consultations, follow-ups, and procedures (e.g., joint injections, aspirations); involvement in ordering and interpreting diagnostics and acting as a first-assist in surgeries. Requires completion of an accredited PA program and CA license/certification, with a minimum of 1 year orthopedic surgery experience and comfort in clinic and OR settings. PSLF-eligible; competitive salary of $145,000–$155,000 plus productivity incentives, sign-on and relocation bonus, generous PTO, full medical/dental/malpractice coverage, CME stipend, and retirement plans. Located in Northern California with emphasis on professional stability in a physician-owned multi-specialty group; travel between sites is not required.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current and unrestricted California license and certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Orthopedic Surgery required
- First-assist surgical experience and comfort in both clinic and OR settings
