Job Summary
Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join Dignity Health Medical Group – North State in Redding, CA, splitting time between outpatient clinic and operating room. Responsibilities include consultations, follow-ups, procedures (joint injections, aspirations, etc.), ordering and interpreting diagnostics, and being a first-assist in surgery. Requires completion of an accredited PA program, CA license and certification, and at least 1 year of orthopedic surgery experience. Benefits include a competitive salary ($145k–$155k), sign-on and relocation bonus, generous PTO and CME, 100% employer-paid education and malpractice coverage, retirement plans, and PSLF eligibility. Location is Redding, CA with in-person work; hybrid/remote not indicated. PSLF-eligible position with relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current and unrestricted California license and certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Orthopedic Surgery
- First-assist surgical experience and comfort in both clinic and OR settings
