Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries and postoperative care. Design and implement tailored treatment plans using evidence-based techniques, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training. Educate patients on injury prevention and create home exercise programs while collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals. Regularly monitor patient progress to adjust treatment protocols and document all interactions accurately in the Electronic Medical Records system. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM with a manageable patient volume.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to craft and implement individualized treatment strategies tailored to patient-specific needs
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care, exhibiting empathy and a compassionate approach to all interactions
- Ability to function independently while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Familiarity with modern therapeutic techniques and physical therapy equipment relevant to a diverse range of orthopedic conditions
- Proficient organizational skills and time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment
