Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify individual goals, needs, and limitations. Create and implement effective treatment plans utilizing advanced manual therapy skills and exercise prescription to optimize mobility and function. Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour while documenting care services for accurate billing and compliance. Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary, collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve outcomes. Educate patients on preventive measures and promote healthy lifestyles through customized fitness programs. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at our New York facility, serving clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active New York State Physical Therapist License, free from any disciplinary actions
- Proficient in manual therapy and therapeutic exercises
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
Desired Qualifications
