Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to create effective treatment plans for orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Manage a caseload with one individual per hour, implementing evidence-based interventions to reduce pain and improve mobility. Develop customized fitness programs, document care meticulously in WebPT, and monitor outcomes to adjust plans as needed. Motivate patients through active participation, educate families on lifestyle modifications, and collaborate with physicians for holistic care. Operate onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm within a team of two therapists and one assistant.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT) from an accredited program
- Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
- A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Ability to implement effective exercise protocols
- Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT
