Job Summary
Assess individual patient goals and needs to create personalized care plans utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, delivering evidence-based interventions for orthopedic outpatient care including postoperative recovery and sports-related injuries. Develop cost-effective treatment strategies and fitness programs to enhance mobility while collaborating with patients on non-surgical alternatives. Document all care aspects in accordance with regulatory standards and monitor progress through EMR software. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM alongside two physical therapists and a PTA.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- A current and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in San Francisco, CA.
- No board or disciplinary actions affecting your license.
- Exemplary manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens.
- Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to track patient progress and document care.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, particularly in a private practice environment.
- A demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful rehabilitation and wellness programs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to foster positive patient relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
