Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and administer hands-on therapy techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance mobility and alleviate pain. Monitor patient progress meticulously, making appropriate modifications to treatment plans based on progress or changing needs. Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff for coordinated care. Participate in a comprehensive mentorship program with a fellowship-trained therapist to enhance clinical practice and receive ongoing educational support. This full-time onsite role in Winnemucca, Nevada, serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal disorders with a manageable volume of two patients per hour.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada
- Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and established rehabilitation protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and familiarity with clinical documentation practices
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing patient-centered care plans that reflect evidence-based practices
