Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess individual needs, including physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation goals. Create and implement customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique situation using evidence-based rehabilitation techniques. Manage a daily caseload of approximately 7 patients, providing direct therapeutic interventions and continuous monitoring of progress. Utilize advanced modalities and equipment for physical therapy treatments, ensuring adherence to best practices. Educate patients about their conditions and recovery strategies, empowering them with knowledge to enhance their rehabilitation journey. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress in compliance with state regulations and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant physical therapy experience in an outpatient or orthopedic setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic practice
- proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- certified in additional therapeutic modalities
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree
