Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs, pain levels, and individual goals. Create and implement effective treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, exercises, and modalities while maintaining a patient load of one per hour. Monitor progress closely, adjust plans to maximize functional outcomes, and educate patients on self-management strategies. Document sessions thoroughly, collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists for multidisciplinary care, and utilize WebPT EMR software for tracking. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a state-of-the-art orthopedic outpatient facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada
- No history of board or disciplinary actions
- Proficient in manual therapy techniques
- Exercise program design
- Strong knowledge and competency in using EMR software
- WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Experience in creating custom fitness and wellness programs
- A track record of effective collaborative practice with multi-disciplinary teams
