Job Summary
Assess patients to formulate individualized treatment plans addressing specific rehabilitation goals while managing a controlled caseload for personalized attention. Employ advanced orthopedic techniques, implement cost-effective methods, and design comprehensive care plans incorporating therapeutic modalities and exercises. Educate patients on pain management, minimize medication reliance, and establish tailored fitness programs to promote recovery. Monitor ongoing progress through regular assessments, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain meticulous documentation in electronic medical record systems. Focus on non-surgical alternatives to optimize patient outcomes and improve daily functional abilities across diverse populations recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean record and no history of sanctions.
- Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation methods.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Experience using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate patient documentation and management.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting with a solid understanding of sports and orthopedic injuries.
