Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient goals and limitations, then manage a caseload of one hour per individual to monitor progress. Implement evidence-based treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to enhance mobility and rehabilitation outcomes. Develop and execute personalized programs while documenting all interactions thoroughly in the WebPT Electronic Medical Record system. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach and educate patients on lifestyle modifications. This full-time onsite role at our Fort Myers rehabilitation center focuses on outpatient orthopedic care for patients recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with either a Master's or Doctorate degree (MPT/DPT)
- A valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- A pristine professional record, free of any board or disciplinary actions
- Strong manual therapy skills
- A commitment to evidence-based practice
- Proficiency in crafting and implementing tailored exercise protocols based on individual client needs
- Experience working with EMR systems, particularly WebPT
