Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate physical abilities and rehabilitation needs, then develop and implement tailored protocols including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. Regularly monitor and document progress using WebPT to adjust treatment plans, while educating patients and families on at-home care and injury prevention strategies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide comprehensive care and participate in staff meetings to stay updated on best practices. This role primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. The position requires a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a valid New Jersey license and at least two years of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with patients recovering from post-surgical rehabilitation and sports-related injuries
- Training or certification in specialized therapy techniques or modalities, such as McKenzie therapy or dry needling
- familiarity in WebPT
- Demonstrated ability to foster patient relationships and manage caseload effectively while ensuring optimal care
