Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at maximizing mobility and function. Manage a caseload efficiently, providing one-on-one treatment with an average of one patient per hour. Utilize evidence-based techniques to deliver cost-effective care while monitoring progress and adjusting objectives as necessary. Develop and implement fitness and wellness programs, document all interactions accurately, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. This role supports patients with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain in our Skokie facility, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Illinois, with a clean record and no disciplinary actions
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, for documentation and patient tracking
- Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription methodologies
- Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration and rapport with patients and healthcare team members
Desired Qualifications
- Prior clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrated ability to create and conduct individualized exercise regimens based on patient assessments
- Experience in working with a diverse patient population and familiarity with private insurance processes
