Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain to set personalized treatment goals. Implement evidence-based techniques including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities like heat, cold, and ultrasound for mobility improvement. Continuously assess progress, adjust plans, and document care while educating patients on diagnoses and home exercise programs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and specialists to coordinate recovery for diverse populations ranging from athletes to seniors.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California
- A comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and physiology as it relates to physical therapy practices
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary team members
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills while also being proactive in supporting team dynamics
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Experience with sports rehabilitation or post-surgical care
- Skills in chronic pain management and treatment strategies
