Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify objectives and capabilities, then manage a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused care. Develop and implement comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing manual therapy and tailored exercise regimens to enhance mobility and reduce medication reliance. Monitor progress closely, adjusting protocols based on ongoing feedback, while documenting all care meticulously in electronic medical records. Motivate patients through the rehabilitation process to maximize functional abilities and promote independence. Participate in interdisciplinary consultations to ensure holistic treatment approaches.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in Palatine, IL
- Clean professional record, free of any board actions or disciplinary measures
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Ability to craft tailored exercise regimens for diverse patient needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting
