Job Summary
Conduct thorough physical assessments evaluating mobility, flexibility, and strength, then develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices. Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrotherapy while guiding patients through rehabilitative routines. Continuously monitor patient progress to adjust treatment plans and educate clients on conditions and preventive measures. Document all encounters accurately in the electronic health record system. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM serving active adults with orthopedic conditions, post-operative needs, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to apply for one
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective patient interaction and collaboration with team members
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative, individualized treatment approaches
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic physical therapy setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation practices in a clinical environment
- Experience in working with a diverse patient demographic
