Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to establish individualized goals and maintain a manageable caseload for one-on-one orthopedic rehabilitation sessions. Implement tailored treatment plans utilizing manual therapy techniques and exercise programs to restore strength, flexibility, and mobility. Monitor patient progress, adjust care as needed, and document findings in electronic medical records. Educate patients on their conditions and foster accountability to optimize functional outcomes for adults recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to advocate for non-invasive treatment approaches. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, engaging directly with patients in a state-of-the-art sports medicine facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with no past disciplinary actions against the license
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Solid understanding of rehabilitation protocols
- Ability to adapt treatment techniques to meet patients' diverse needs
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT for documentation and patient tracking
- Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM
