Job Summary
Conduct thorough physical evaluations using assessment tools to tailor individual treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Implement manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, while continuously monitoring progress and documenting changes to adjust strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including physicians and occupational therapists to streamline communication and educate patients on exercises and lifestyle modifications. This full-time role in our Yelm, Washington outpatient office focuses on enhancing patient recovery through personalized care and active participation.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Washington State
- Established knowledge and experience in orthopedic physical therapy and manual therapy techniques
- Proficient in modern Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, including experience with WebPT or similar software
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on patient care and effective communication
Desired Qualifications
- at least two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
