Job Summary
Evaluate patients' physical abilities and analyze work capacity to develop tailored rehabilitation plans for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Utilize evidence-based treatment methods to execute and modify individualized therapy programs, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and injury prevention education. Document patient progress meticulously in WebPT to ensure clear communication with the multidisciplinary team. Support patients throughout their recovery journey from first visit to final session while reinforcing their goals. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM managing a caseload of 1 to 2 patients per hour in an onsite San Jose practice.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in California or eligible for licensure
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A patient-focused mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience with systems like WebPT or similar electronic health record platforms
- Prior involvement in professional development programs and continuing education in physical therapy techniques
