Job Summary
Conduct in-depth evaluations and assessments to establish patient baseline conditions and individual rehabilitation goals for orthopedic patients recovering from sports injuries, post-operative cases, or chronic pain. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies, including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and neuromuscular re-education. Educate patients on self-management strategies and monitor progress by adapting plans and documenting accurately in electronic medical records. Collaborate closely with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams, while providing mentorship to physical therapist assistants and student interns.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- At least two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Experience treating sports-related injuries
- Experience treating post-operative rehabilitation cases
- Experience treating chronic pain management
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
