Job Summary
Conduct in-depth patient evaluations to assess physical abilities and identify rehabilitation needs for orthopedic outpatients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and patient goals, ensuring alignment with referring physicians. Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, providing guidance on treatment protocols and ensuring compliance with Colorado state regulations. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and adapt strategies as necessary. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and medical doctors, to enhance holistic care approaches. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Fort Collins.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Physical Therapist license in Colorado or eligibility for licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to providing patient-centered care
- Demonstrated commitment to effective communication with patients and their families
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly WebPT
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting, specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Demonstrating flexibility
- Demonstrating a growth mindset
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices in physical therapy
- Familiarity with current treatment modalities
