Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to establish treatment goals and manage a load of one individual per hour. Utilize therapeutic modalities to develop tailored care plans that optimize movement and reduce pain, while implementing cost-effective strategies prioritizing functional improvements. Create customized fitness programs to strengthen patients and document services meticulously to track progress. Engage and motivate individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, collaborating with healthcare professionals to modify interventions for optimum recovery. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Illinois without any recorded board actions or disciplinary measures
- Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques for effective patient outcomes
- Proficiency in designing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation processes
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, particularly in managing cases similar to those faced at our facility
- Strong background in evidence-based practice to support patient-centered care
- Ability to foster a motivational environment that encourages patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation
