Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans for orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Implement evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education while tracking progress in the Electronic Medical Record system. Provide patient education on injury prevention and self-management strategies, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate recovery plans. Mentor Physical Therapy Assistants and student interns, and participate in regular case discussions to enhance service delivery. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, specifically within an outpatient orthopedic context
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Demonstrated strength in manual therapy techniques
- Knowledge of sports injury rehabilitation
- Knowledge of postoperative recovery protocols
- Knowledge of chronic pain management
- Experience working with a diverse patient population
