Job Summary
Assess patients' physical therapy needs by evaluating goals and health requirements for orthopedic conditions, then manage a caseload of one client per hour with personalized attention. Implement cost-effective treatment plans to enhance range of motion and mobility while developing customized fitness programs to empower patient recovery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care, evaluate treatment outcomes, and document all progress. Work primarily with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal disorders, including athletes seeking to regain peak performance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- Demonstrated clinical expertise with at least one year of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques such as Manual Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation
- Experience in programming or leading physical wellness workshops
