Job Summary
Conduct thorough initial assessments to create individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients, managing a caseload of one patient per hour. Deliver services including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities while developing cost-effective care plans and non-surgical interventions. Document all patient care accurately, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and design personalized fitness programs to promote long-term health and injury prevention. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Connecticut
- Maintains a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT EMR Software
- Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Aptitude for using therapeutic modalities and creating effective treatment protocols based on patient assessments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust with patients and collaborate with team members effectively
- Ability to motivate and inspire patients throughout the rehabilitation process
