Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans addressing mobility and functional limitations. Provide one-on-one treatments with a load of one individual per hour, utilizing manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities to facilitate effective rehabilitation. Implement evidence-based interventions designed to promote recovery and minimize reliance on medications while monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Document all interactions accurately using the WebPT EMR system and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during weekly meetings. Work on-site at the Centreville facility Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Assist patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic conditions by promoting strength training, flexibility, and balance exercises.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Centreville, VA, with no prior board actions or disciplinary issues
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, tailored exercise programs, and proven rehabilitation strategies
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient care
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-driven environment
- Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a significant understanding of the unique challenges and needs of this patient population
- A track record of utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve successful rehabilitation outcomes
