Job Summary
Evaluate patient conditions to set individualized recovery goals and treatment plans for orthopedic clients, including athletes and post-surgical individuals. Maintain a manageable patient load of approximately one patient per hour while implementing therapeutic modalities like manual therapy, exercise, and educational counseling. Develop customized rehabilitation programs focusing on functional improvement and monitor progress to adjust plans as necessary. Document patient updates and collaborate closely with referring physicians and specialists in our collaborative team environment. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Completed a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Holds an active and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in California.
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy practices.
- No prior board actions or disciplinary measures against the practice license.
- Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing structured and effective exercise regimens.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient care is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment that emphasizes collaboration across healthcare disciplines.
- Previous involvement in developing community education programs and workshops focused on injury prevention and health promotion.
