Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, then administer personalized treatment plans including education, exercise programs, and manual therapy techniques. Maintain an optimal patient load of one patient per hour while documenting all care activities in WebPT to ensure regulatory compliance. Monitor and evaluate patient progress continually, adjusting care plans as needed for individuals with orthopedic conditions ranging from sports injuries to chronic musculoskeletal issues. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to foster patient motivation and engagement.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with a clear record free of disciplinary actions or board penalties
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Aptness in developing effective exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically WebPT
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and collaborate with a cohesive healthcare team
