Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of orthopedic patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress to adjust interventions as needed. Provide education on treatment and home care while engaging in ongoing consultations with physicians to ensure coordinated care. Maintain compliance with regulations and participate in team meetings to refine approaches. Work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM in a state-of-the-art Dulles, Virginia facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia
- American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to support patient engagement and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Expertise in evaluating and treating a variety of orthopedic conditions
- Experience with advanced rehabilitation technologies
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
