Job Summary
Conduct initial evaluations for patients with orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses to develop accurate treatment plans tailored to specific needs. Monitor and assess individual patient status regularly, interpreting data to adapt treatment plans based on age-specific requirements. Create and implement personalized rehabilitation programs applying evidence-based practices to maximize recovery potential. Document and maintain records of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes efficiently using advanced software systems. Guide and educate patients and their families about transitional care, exercises, and home safety to enhance recovery outside the clinic. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care and exchange vital information impacting treatment plans. This full-time onsite role at our advanced Rehabilitation Center in Margate, Florida, supports diverse populations recovering from surgeries, chronic pain, or neurological conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida or a temporary permit
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / Healthcare Provider certification
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate patients toward their rehabilitation goals
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy
- Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation practices and tools
