Job Summary
Fellowship-trained orthopedic joint arthroplasty surgeon sought to perform primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty in a high-volume community center; responsibilities include diagnosing and managing hip and knee joint disorders, performing primary and revision total joint arthroplasty, maintaining accurate EHR documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, engaging in quality improvement initiatives, participating in orthopedic call coverage, and optional teaching/research activities. Requirements include an MD or DO, completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency, fellowship in Adult Reconstruction/Joint Arthroplasty, board certification or eligibility, active Maryland medical license or eligibility, demonstrated expertise in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty, and preferred proficiency in robotic-assisted and computer-navigated surgery. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency
- Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Joint Arthroplasty
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Demonstrated expertise in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty
- Proficiency in robotic-assisted and computer-navigated surgery preferred
