Job Summary
Orthopedic Joint Arthroplasty Surgeon needed to join a high-volume, community-based program in Annapolis, MD. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing hip and knee joint disorders, performing primary and revision total joint arthroplasty with access to enabling technologies and ambulatory surgery center arthroplasty, maintaining EHR documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in quality improvement and ongoing education, and potential teaching/research ties. Fellowship-trained in Adult Reconstruction / Joint Arthroplasty with MD or DO credentialing, board certification/eligibility, and active Maryland license, plus demonstrated expertise in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty. Robotic-assisted and computer-navigated surgery experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency
- Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Joint Arthroplasty
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Demonstrated expertise in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty
- Proficiency in robotic-assisted and computer-navigated surgery preferred
