Job Summary
fellowship-trained, BC/BE Orthopedic Joint Arthroplasty Surgeon needed in Annapolis, MD to join a high-volume, community-based program. Primary and revision total joint arthroplasty of the hip and knee with access to enabling technologies and ambulatory surgery center arthroplasty. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain accurate EHR documentation, participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education, and potential involvement in teaching and research (optional). Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency
- Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Joint Arthroplasty
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Demonstrated expertise in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty
- Proficiency in robotic-assisted and computer-navigated surgery preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to patient-centered care
- Community outreach and engagement experience is a plus
