Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic conditions using evidence-based practices in a home care setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices to enhance mobility and reduce pain. Regularly track, document, and assess patient progress, adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, self-care techniques, and proper use of assistive devices to foster independence. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to deliver comprehensive care while staying informed on latest advancements through continuing education. This onsite role involves traveling to various patient locations across Orlando, offering a flexible Monday-to-Friday schedule where you choose your hours.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid state license for physical therapy practice
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using word processing and computer programs for documentation and communication
- A strong commitment to patient-centered care
- A flexible, adaptable demeanor
- Must be able to travel to various patient locations across Orlando
- Must be available for a work schedule from Monday to Friday
