Job Summary
Orthopedic General and Sports Surgeon needed to join an established South Florida multi-specialty practice. Manage a high-volume clinical caseload including acute trauma, fractures, degenerative joint diseases, and complex athletic injuries, with dual-focus on arthroscopic shoulder/knee procedures (ACL, meniscus, rotator cuff) and fracture fixations (ORIF). Collaborate with on-site physical therapy and exercise physiology teams to design non-operative rehabilitation pathways. Oversee pre-operative evaluations, medical clearances, and post-operative follow-up; maintain accurate EMR compliant with Florida statutes, CMS guidelines, and HIPAA. Requires MD or DO, ACGME-accredited 5-year Orthopedic Surgery residency, 1-year sports medicine fellowship, and ABOS board certification/eligibility with Florida license. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited 5-year Orthopedic Surgery residency
- Completion of an accredited 1-year subspecialty fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine
- Active, clean, and unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligibility
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS)
