Job Summary
Conduct seven days of orthopaedic trauma call per month at a Level 1 trauma center with daily protected operating room time. Manage high-energy trauma, periarticular fractures, pelvic/acetabulum fractures, geriatric/periprosthetic fractures, and osteomyelitis/nonunions. Receive midlevel support for ER consults, reductions/splinting, inpatient rounding, and post-op visits. Cultivate an elective subspecialty practice with institutional support if desired. Required Qualifications
- board-certified/board-eligible orthopaedic trauma surgeon
- completed an OTA-accredited orthopaedic trauma fellowship
- proficient in high-energy trauma
- proficient in periarticular fractures
- proficient in pelvic/acetabulum fractures
- proficient in geriatric/periprosthetic fractures
- management of osteomyelitis
- management of nonunions
