Job Summary
Support and assist the Director of the Orthopaedic Unit, Monash Health, in providing high-quality Orthopaedic Services. Deliver clinical leadership through patient care involvement; be available for urgent consultation and resuscitation of critically ill or injured patients. Support academic, research, education, training and supervision for undergraduate and postgraduate levels; contribute to Orthopaedic Unit outreach services; participate in committees and drive service improvement and workforce innovation to ensure accessible Orthopaedic Services within allocated resources. Supervise Junior Medical Staff; ensure clear reporting pathways during on-call or ward service. Applicants should hold full fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery with RACS and Australian Orthopaedic Association or equivalent and an Australian Passport or equivalent.
