Job Summary
Manage a balanced clinical schedule of 2.5 clinic days and 2.5 operating room days per week, primarily treating degenerative spine cases with a 60% lumbar and 40% cervical mix. Share spine call responsibilities across the spine surgeon team for a single hospital. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes 24 advanced practice providers and utilizes the ModMed EMR system. This role is part of a growing ambulatory surgery center opening in early 2027, offering immediate referrals and a pathway to partnership with no buy-in required.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon
- Fellowship training or planned fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine
- Strong communication skills
- Patient-focused, collaborative approach
- Valid Alabama medical license
