Job Summary
Orthopaedic Hand Surgeons: Clinical Associates provide inpatient and outpatient care in hand surgery and trauma reconstruction of musculoskeletal injuries. Positions are full-time with renewable terms up to three years, located at the Hyde Park site and affiliated off sites in Crown Point, IN, Harvey, IL, Tinley Park, IL, and other sites as determined. Appointees must have a medical doctorate or equivalent, hold or be eligible for Illinois medical licensure, be board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery, and have completed an ACGME-approved orthopaedic surgery residency; a fellowship in orthopaedic hand surgery is especially welcomed. The role does not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is benefits-eligible and dependent on qualifications; applications are submitted via The University of Chicago academic recruitment process with CV and cover letter.
Required Qualifications
- Medical doctorate or equivalent
- Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois
- Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
