Job Summary
Conduct patient consultations to assess medical history and current conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Order and interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans. Develop and implement treatment plans covering surgical and non-surgical options, while performing procedures on the specified extremities. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, collaborating with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care. Join a physician-owned practice in the Pittsburgh suburbs with five locations, offering outpatient rehab, urgent care centers, and a healthy payor mix. Minimal on-call coverage is required, with a call frequency of 1:9.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an Orthopaedic Surgery residency program
- Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Orthopaedic Fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery
- Valid medical license with the ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a private practice team environment
- Fellowship Trained in Hand and Upper Extremity
- Board Certified/Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Ability to obtain Pennsylvania state medical license
