Job Summary
Orthodontist locum coverage in Nova Scotia for June 29–30, 2026. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive orthodontic care (diagnosis, treatment planning, case management), supervising and supporting the clinical team (hygienists and assistants), bonding and debonding of orthodontic appliances (including brackets and aligner therapy), monitoring progress, adjusting treatment plans, maintaining infection control and clinical standards, communicating treatment plans and outcomes with patients and families, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with the team to ensure efficient patient flow. Requires licensure in good standing and proven orthodontic experience with fixed appliances and/or clear aligners.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Orthodontist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
- Proven experience in orthodontics, including fixed appliances and/or clear aligner therapy
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to high-quality patient care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
