Job Summary
Front Desk/Patient Coordinator at an orthodontic practice with Invisalign-based therapy and airway-focused care. Responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, answering phone calls and inquiries, maintaining schedules and confirming appointments, handling Accounts Receivable, discussing payment plans, presenting treatment plans and educating patients on options, collecting insurance information, ensuring HIPAA/OSHA compliance, responding to patient billing and benefit inquiries, and performing other duties as assigned by the Doctor. Preferred but not required: ability to process insurance for extra hours/pay.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Minimum 1-year dental office experience, with 2+ years preferred
- Dental Software knowledge (Dolphin, Ortho II Etc..)
- CRM knowledge, ideally with Weave
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Patient advocate; empathetic, adaptable, and ethical
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
