Job Summary
Prepare orthodontic patients for procedures by sterilizing tools, keeping mouths clean and dry, and handing instruments at the appropriate time. Assist the orthodontist in diagnosing jaw bone structure and tooth changes through x-rays and photography. Educate patients on treatment plans and progress while supporting clinical dental care across all aspects of the practice. This role requires travel between offices with mileage reimbursement and certification in coronal polishing, sealants, or nitrous. Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel between offices (mileage reimbursement)
- Coronal polishing/sealant, and/or nitrous certified
Desired Qualifications
- Previous ortho chairside assisting is preferred
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the workday
- Excellent customer service skills with an outgoing, people friendly personality
- The ideal applicant will display and demonstrate excellent communication skills with staff and patients
